Andover Hills is located in southeastern Lexington and bordered by Todds Road to the east, Hays Boulevard to the south, Jacobson Park to the west, and Mapleleaf Park to the north.  The neighborhood was developed by Lochmere Development Corporation and consists primarily of large, single family homes.  The neighborhood association was transferred from the developer to the homeowners in 1995.  Association fees are $165 per year and cover the cost of maintaining the common areas of the neighborhood.

Currently, the Lexington Fayette Urban County government is working to expand the existing 2-lane rural roadway at Todds Road to a three-five lane urban corridor with sidewalks, curb and gutters, and bike lanes.  Every effort is being made to minimize roadway relocations in order to preserve the character of the community and to protect its environmental and cultural resources.

Andover Hills also includes a neighborhood park that has recently been renovated  to include five exercise stations to add a little calisthenics to your morning run!  The association is currently looking to add electricity to the park as well, so that evening community events might have outdoor lighting. 

Another entertainment feature of the neighborhood is the Andover Gold & Country Club.  The club is a private, member-owned club opened in 1989 and is open to membership to families and individuals in the Lexington area.  The club offers an 18-hole championship golf course, junior Olympic sized swimming pool, tennis facility, and formal dining room. 

Andover’s proximity to Hamburg, Man O’ War, and I-75 make it a highly sought after neighborhood.  Mature trees, well tended lawns and greenspace make this neighborhood a beautiful walking (or running) area.  If your looking for your forever home, it’s time to take a look at Andover Hills.
