Glendover Neighborhood is a strictly residential neighborhood including approximately 450 homes.  The boundaries are Glendover Road to the North, Albany Road to the South, Tates Creek Road to the East, and Heather Way to the West.  The neighborhood also includes all of Jesselin Drive and the households along the West side of Tates Creek Road between Albany Road and Old Dobbin Road.  

Glendover is an older, established neighborhood with predominately ranch style homes.  The landscape is softly rolling and features well landscaped front yards and generous backyards.  Mature trees and sidewalks on both sides of the streets (except Tates Creek) make this a lovely neighborhood for an evening stroll. 

Though the neighborhood is strictly residential, it’s proximity to Nicholasville Road and Tates Creek Road make dining, shopping, and entertainment readily accessible.  Donut Days, a local bakery, is within walking distance of the neighborhood!  Don’t be fooled…..Donut Days doesn’t just limit themselves to donuts!  They also make delightful cakes and pastries.  Just down the road you can also find Southland Bowling Lanes, the Good Food Co-Op, and ReStore.  

Two schools are located in this neighborhood as well.  Glendover Elementary, part of the public school system, is within walking distance of all homes in this neighborhood and has a playground open to the public.  Community Montessori is also nestled in among the homes at the intersection of Jesselin Drive and Crestwood Drive.  This is a small, private school going through upper elementary.  CMS also has two playgrounds open to the neighborhood.
