Beaumont is a large neighborhood located in Southern Lexington. The area includes 1200 homes, apartments, and town homes all connected by scenic walking trails. Beaumont is surrounded by traditional plank fences and includes many green spaces and parks.
Beaumont is a well established neighborhood surrounded by green space, but right at the edge of everything Lexington has to offer. Located right in the heart of the neighborhood is Beaumont Shopping Center, an area that includes Kroger, YMCA, restaurants, and smaller shops. Some of Lexington’s finest dining is right at the doorstep of Beaumont residents. One of our favorites, Azur is located in the Beaumont Shopping Center and offers a delightful range of local favorites. If sushi is more to your taste, Kobe Stonegrill and Sushi House may be just the place for you! Mediterranean food, pizza, fast food…..it’s all right outside your door!
Right across the street from the shopping center are doctors’ offices including a pediatrician, a dermatologist, and a dentist. Barely moments away, you will find New Circle Road which gives easy access to Nicholasville Road, the airport, the interstate, and more! Beaumont is a dream location for those who commute to Frankfort or even to Louisville. If the interstate isn’t your preferred commute, Harrodsburg Road edges Beaumont and will lead you along the “back roads” to Frankfort, then on to Louisville.
Though the neighborhood is located on the very edge of the southern part of Fayette County, don’t be fooled…..it’s proximity to schools, churches, interstates, the airport, and shopping make Beaumont a much desired address!
