Slightly further afield, there are two large commercial areas to the west and east. To the east, centered on Mist Lake Plaza and distributed along US Highway 25, are many large stores including a Lowe's, Home Depot, and a Kroger. To the west is Fayette Mall, also near a Walmart and a Target.
