Lansdowne Merrick Park is another great place for children as it has a terrific playground and scenic green spaces. There are walkways that run through the park where you can walk or rollerblade.
One of the best parts about living in Shadeland is that homes are close to all the amenities that make Lexington so great. Only a few minutes away is Fayette Mall which is the largest mall in the state. You can find everything you need, from clothing to home goods. In the same area are chain restaurants where you can dine out.
