Originally built for the Centenary Methodist Church in 1867-1870, 154 North Broadway was built by Cincinnatus Shryock in the Venetian Gothic style. The Centenary congregation had originated in Covington, KY and had withdrawn from the Methodist Episcopal Church South on the 100th anniversary of the founding of Methodism in America. This building features polychrome masonry, now painted, and pronounced horizontal lines as opposed to the dark stone verticality of the more common Northern Gothic style. Incredibly preserved geometric style stained glass, flat level hardwood floors, very high ceilings, updated wiring, forced air furnaces with central air, recent dimensional shingle roof. Some deed restrictions as to use. Ample off-site parking located close by. Located in the center of downtown Lexington one block from Rupp. $680,000
