As a native of Huntington, West Virginia, I attended Miller Elementary, Cammack Junior High and Huntington High School as well as Marshall University. My father owned H.K.Betros Oriental Rugs and introduced me to Lexington at a young age when he furnished rugs to some of the finest homes and horse farms in town. After 20 years in Montreal and Toronto Canada, working as a Money Markets trader for The Royal Bank of Canada, I came back to Lexington in 1993 and worked for Banc One Securities. In 1999, I started working in the real estate field and have loved every minute of it! I even managed to get my French-Canadian husband to join me. He is a wonderful stained glass artist and owns A House of a Different Color, where he is a genius at home improvement projects. My son, Paul, was born in Toronto but is now a true Lexingtonian. He is an audio engineer and works for several of the music clubs that are sprouting all over Lexington. I am a member of The Million Dollar Club and recently earned my SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosures) designation to assist buyers and sellers with pre-forclosure properties. I truly enjoy my work as a reading volunteer for Central Kentucky Radio Eye, reading for visually impaired people on the radio across Kentucky. I also assist each month at God's Pantry. Please consider those organizations when you make your charitable donations. I have found that my varied experiences have helped me to relate to a wide variety of buyers and sellers. I've spent most of my career searching for the best deals and, whether you're buying of selling, I can do the same for you!
