Chilesburg is a large subdivision located on the outskirts of Lexington out Richmond Road just beyond Jacobson Park.  The neighborhood was established in 2002, so all of the homes are relatively new.  The area intends to expand to nearly 1200 homes, but currently has 800 built.  Chilesburg is a deed restricted neighborhood and has design guidelines for all homes in the area.

Shopping, dining, and the interstate are easily accessible, but the neighborhood offers plenty of green space as well.  Lovely landscaping, ponds, vast green space, and walking trails make this neighborhood especially friendly to walkers and joggers alike.  Jacobson Park is a spacious park very nearby offering walking trails, playgrounds, a marina, and a summer favorite – Free Friday Night Flicks!  The park offers many family friendly activities throughout the year…..check their website at  http://www.lexingtonky.gov/index.aspx?page=2078 for upcoming events.
